🖤 A Wickedly Good Time: Disney Villains Take Center Stage on the Disney Destiny
You all know I love a good hero moment… but let’s be real — sometimes it’s the villains who steal the show. And aboard the brand-new Disney Destiny, launching this November, the scoundrels, mischief-makers, and delightfully devious icons of Disney and Marvel lore are getting their time to shine.
The theme of the ship is heroes AND villains, and let me tell you — the villainous offerings are so fabulous, so fierce, and so FUN that I’m considering packing a feathered cape and perfecting my best evil laugh right now.
Let’s break it down…
A Grand Hall That Transforms Before Your Eyes
It all starts in the Grand Hall, and I am obsessed with what Disney is doing here.
Inspired by Marvel’s Black Panther, this gorgeous, regal space is already stunning during the day, glowing with golden hero vibes and bright optimism. But — and here’s the twist — the space transforms at any moment into something moody, magical, and mysterious.
💫 Picture this:
360-degree lighting. Sudden ambiance shifts. And the energy of a villain taking over. Yes, please! Who doesn’t love a great before and after?

Enter: Loki, God of Mischief (and Dramatic Entrances)
If you’re a fan of Marvel’s Loki (I mean, who isn’t?), get ready for chaotic charm in spades.
On the Destiny, Loki doesn’t just appear — he announces himself, declares his rule over the ship, and may even challenge guests to prove their devotion. Think mischievous competitions, royal decrees, and dramatic retellings of tales you thought you knew.
Also, someone prepare him for soft serve on Deck 11 — I feel like that’s going to blow his Asgardian mind.
Cruella de Vil Brings the Sass (and Style)
Cruella is more than just fashionably late — she’s bringing two brand-new experiences aboard the Disney Destiny, and they are equal parts fabulous and fierce.
Cruella’s Wretched Runway – Step aside, Project Runway. Guests can show off their best villain-chic looks while Cruella offers color commentary — and you better believe she’ll tell it like it is.
Musical Mischief – Tired of that dreadful “Cruella de Vil” song? So is she. And she just might enlist you to help craft a more flattering remix. Expect sass, sparkles, and spontaneous showdowns.
Games, Glamour, and a Bit of Voodoo
He’s got friends on the other side — and he’s bringing the fun. Keep your eyes peeled for Dr. Facilier, who might be lurking in the Grand Hall with a glint in his eye and a card trick (or con) up his sleeve.
He’ll invite guests to play a game of chance, and while it’s all in good fun, let’s just say… I wouldn’t bet your dessert on it. 😉
Maleficent Holds Court at Saga Lounge
You know I live for a Maleficent moment — and now, she’s got her own villainous venue aboard the Destiny.
At the Saga Lounge, Maleficent will put on what they’re calling a “glittering assemblage” (YES!) — part theatrical event, part magical showcase. Whether you watch from afar or get brave enough to step into her glow-up circle, this promises to be spine-tingling in the best way.
🖤 Final Thoughts from the Dark Side (of the Cruise)
This is honestly one of the most exciting villain lineups I’ve ever seen from Disney — especially on a cruise ship. It’s interactive, immersive, and dripping with flair. I think the character interactions are going to a whole new level on this ship. The Disney Destiny is setting a new standard for what it means to balance light and dark, and I am so here for it.
Whether you’re a proud hero, a glam villain, or just love a little extra drama with your dessert, there’s something truly magical (and maybe just a little bit mischievous) waiting for you aboard the Destiny.
Thinking of booking your own voyage with the villains? Reach out and let’s get you on the list for this epic new adventure. I’ll save you a seat at Cruella’s runway.
