On Sunday, November 16, 2014, Frank and I had our Disney Fairy Tale Wedding, and were married at the Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian. We had a 10 am ceremony, followed by a brunch reception at Ariel’s at the Beach Club. Later that evening, we hosted a dessert party for our guests at the United Kingdom Lochside at Epcot. We finished up the evening with a ride mix in for our guests at Soarin’. It truly was a magical day, and could not have been any better. It was a small wedding; we had 25 guests in attendance.
Our officiant was Renee Silverman. Our photographers were David and Vicki Arndt (all pictures in the slideshow below were taken by them). Our videographers were Cinemedia. Here’s a link to our short wedding video.
I have a Vendor Reviews page (link at the bottom of this page) with our reviews for our vendors. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s coming along.
I have a very detailed planning journal and wedding trip write up that I will be moving over here eventually, but for now, here are some pictures from the big day.
We also did two Disney Bridal Portrait sessions, one at Animal Kingdom, and one at Hollywood Studios. We had hoped to do one at Magic Kingdom, but there weren’t any available sessions during our wedding trip. We love the shots we got at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios—here are some of our favorites. Note: Disney Fine Art Photography took these pictures. Pedro was the photographer at Animal Kingdom, and Stephanie Caldwell was the photographer at Hollywood Studios.
I’m happy to talk Disney Fairy Tale Weddings (heck I love talking Weddings PERIOD! 😉) so feel free to send me any questions you may have or topics you’d like me to write about related to our wedding, wedding planning, wedding trip planning, etc. I had a LOT of fun planning our wedding and our family’s trip to Disney for the wedding. Learned a LOT too!
More to come!
Happy Dreaming!
Brooke
