Your best strategy for the most popular attractions? Either obtain a Fast Pass+ reservation or be at the park early and ride first thing before the lines get long. Extra Magic Hours and ticketed events often offer shorter lines for these popular attractions.
Don’t worry if you’re not able to get a Fast Pass+ reservation for your favorite or most wished for attraction. You’ll be able to monitor attraction wait times in your My Disney Experience app while in the park. Often you will get lucky first thing in the morning or at the end of the park day. Just check the app, and decide how long you are willing to wait.
