Disney’s Animal Kingdom Fast Pass+ Attractions are listed in the table below. This list was updated May 2020.
Fast Pass+ allows ticketed park guests to make advance reservations for some attractions, including most rides and shows. Guests are allowed to make up to three Fast Pass+ reservations for each day of their trip, subject to availability. If staying on Disney property, guests can book their Fast Pass+ reservations sixty days prior to their trip. Guests staying off Disney property can book their Fast Pass+ reservations thirty days before their visit.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom uses a two Tiered system for Fast Pass+ reservations. The most popular attractions are grouped together in Tier One, and all remaining Fast Pass+ attractions are in Tier Two. Guests booking advance Fast Pass+ reservations may select one reservation from Tier One and two from Tier Two.

Fast Pass+ Planning
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Fast Pass+ tier one attractions only include two attractions–Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey. Both are very popular attractions, but Flight of Passage is by far the most in demand attraction at Animal Kingdom right now. If you plan to ride Flight of Passage and can get an advance Fast Pass+ reservation, we highly recommend you do so. Once you have used your first three advance Fast Pass+ reservations, you’ll be able to book additional reservations, one at a time, using your smart phone. Subject to availability, of course, but odds are good you may be able to book a FP+ reservation later in the day for Na’vi River Journey. The lines for Na’vi River Journey also tend to be shorter at night–and you MUST return to Pandora at night to see it in the dark, anyway!
Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest are also two extremely popular rides. We highly recommend you get a Fast Pass for the Safaris if you can. This attraction appeals to all ages, and often has very long lines. Expedition Everest offers a single rider line, so if you don’t mind splitting up when it’s time to ride, this option can save you a lot of time in line. Another very popular attraction in warmer months is Kali River Rapids. This is a YOU WILL GET WET ride, so being able to plan your ride for the warmer parts of the day is an advantage if you can manage it.
Do I Need a Fast Pass+ Reservation for the Shows?
You generally don’t need Fast Pass+ reservations for the shows, as long as you arrive at the show at least 20 minutes before it starts. However, if you want the best seating, you may want to use a FP+ reservation here. (Note: Honestly all the seats are good in these theaters, they really are! But if you want to be close to the front, FP+ is the way to go).
Good Luck planning!
Happy Dreaming,
Brooke
