Tucked just above Spaceship Earth, Geo-82 is one of EPCOT’s most intriguing new additions—a sleek, adults-only lounge offering elevated cocktails and calm in the middle of the park’s constant motion.
You’ll find it inside the same building you exit after riding Spaceship Earth, in the area filled with interactive exhibits and games. You can enter that space from outside too. If you’re facing World Showcase, the entrance is on the right side of the building; Geo-82 is just inside those doors.
Checking In and First Impressions
Reservations are required—and tough to snag. I tried right at the 60-day mark, then nearly every day after, finally landing a Monday afternoon slot about two weeks before my trip. Even same-day searches showed nothing. This is a small, intimate venue with limited seating, so patience pays off.
After checking in, guests head upstairs (there’s also an elevator). At the top, you’re greeted with a cool towel—heavenly on a hot Florida afternoon—and shown to a small waiting area before being escorted into the lounge itself.
The Space and Vibe
Geo-82 is a single, medium-sized room with windows stretching across the front, framing a view toward World Showcase Lagoon. The décor is understated and elegant—comfortable without being themed to death. Think contemporary lounge with warm lighting, sleek lines, and plenty of breathing room.
There’s a long bar spanning the width of the space and small groupings of tables and chairs arranged throughout. I was seated at the bar for my 2:45 p.m. reservation and immediately noticed how calm it felt. Three bartenders worked behind the bar, and servers handled the tables, so the experience felt personal and unhurried.
Unlike places like Oga’s Cantina or BaseLine Tap House, everyone here has an assigned seat. No crowding, no standing—just a relaxed, civilized drink above the hustle of EPCOT.
The Drinks and Menu
Geo-82 is undeniably pricey. Specialty cocktails hover around $24 each, and the small-plates menu is limited but upscale. The charcuterie board came highly recommended by both guests and my bartender, but at $29, it seemed better suited for sharing.
I opted for the Funghi Flatbread instead—about $14.95—and it was delicious. (The name doesn’t sound good, I know, but mushrooms, gouda, garlic…so good!) Perfect as a shared snack or, in my case, an early dinner that hit the spot.
Funghi Flatbread
Most of the specialty drinks lean heavily on whiskey and bourbon, which isn’t my thing, so I asked the bartender for suggestions. Geo-82 has a full bar, and the staff genuinely want to create something you’ll love. We settled on a spicy margarita, and it was perfect—fresh, balanced, and just the right kick.
The couple seated next to me ordered the Disney Select Bourbon Flight ($55), which appears to be a house specialty. Watching its presentation was fascinating, and I immediately thought my stepdad—who’s serious about bourbon—would love this place.
Geo-82: The Experience
This isn’t a rushed, “finish your drink in 45 minutes” kind of experience. There’s currently no set time limit, and when I asked, the hostess said they’ve discussed possibly adding a 75- or 90-minute window during peak seasons, but nothing official yet.
The bartenders were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely fun to talk with. One joked that “it’s amazing what you can do when you don’t need to appeal to an eight-year-old palate,” and that summed up the vibe nicely.
Geo-82 is adults-only, and honestly, I’m all for it. Walt Disney World is overwhelmingly kid-friendly—this is one of the few spaces designed purely for adults to unwind. Watching the crowd that afternoon, everyone seemed relaxed and happy. Every table was full, yet it still felt peaceful.
If you tend to get overstimulated by the full-throttle Disney energy, Geo-82 might be your ideal place to take a breather. Just know—you’ll pay for that serenity.
Fireworks Viewing and Special Experience
During the day, the lounge’s front windows provide a clear line of sight toward World Showcase Lagoon. In theory, that should make it a solid fireworks viewing location, though you are quite far back. Geo-82 offers a Fireworks Experience package priced at $179 + tax and gratuity per person.
That event begins one hour before Luminous: The Symphony of Us and includes champagne or event-exclusive cocktails, a tasting tower of savory bites, and sweets served during the show. It sounds elegant, but given the distance and price, I’m not sure it’s a must-do—at least for me right now.
There are currently no discounts for DVC, Annual Passholders, or Cast Members, and from what I was told, that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
The Bottom Line
Geo-82 is a refined, adults-only haven in the middle of EPCOT’s chaos—a place to sip something sophisticated, enjoy good conversation, and take a deep breath.
It’s expensive, yes, but you’re paying for atmosphere, exclusivity, and quality service. If you’re a cocktail lover—or a bourbon fan—you’ll probably think it’s worth every penny.
For me, Geo-82 felt like a little pocket of calm where Disney lets grown-ups have a moment to themselves. And honestly, I’m all for that.

If you ask me, nothing says Disney holidays quite like the Candlelight Processional during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. It’s one of those experiences that blends music, storytelling, and sheer magic in a way that only Disney can pull off. And this year’s 2025 lineup of narrators is packed with star power.
2025 Candlelight Processional Narrators
Every year, fans of this special seasonal presentation wait with bated breath for Disney to announce the narrators and the dates they’ll performing the show. There are always some returning favorites and there are always some new narrators in the list that make me want to book a trip for their dates immediately. This year is no exception. There are several narrators in this year’s schedule that I would absolutely LOVE to see. Take a look at this list:
Dates

Dec 23–24
Luis Fonsi
Dec 25–26
Joel Smallbone (new)
Dec 27–28
Brie Larson (new)

Sheryl Lee Ralph
I mean, come ON, right? I would LOVE to see Jennifer Garner do this. Or Sheryl Lee Ralph. Or, oh my goodness, Henry Winkler! And returning favorites Marlee Matlin and Gary Sinise have been on my wish list for YEARS now. Who in this list would be at the top of your list? (Note to self: there’s still time to squeeze in one more trip to Disney before Christmas, right?!?)
What Makes Candlelight So Special
Held at the America Gardens Theatre in EPCOT, the Candlelight Processional tells the Christmas story with a celebrity narrator, a mass choir made up of Cast Members and community singers, and the powerhouse Voices of Liberty. Add in a full 50-piece orchestra and you’ve got goosebumps before the first note even finishes.
I’ve sat in the audience many times over the years, and it never fails to give me chills. The combination of live music, the glow of holiday lights, and the heartfelt narration is both festive and deeply moving. Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, it’s hard not to feel swept up in the joy of the season.
Performance Details
Showtimes: Nightly at 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.
Location: America Gardens Theatre, EPCOT
Arrive early, because these shows are popular. Even with reserved seating, you’ll want to get there ahead of time to snag the best view.
Dining Packages: Dinner + Guaranteed Seats
One of the smartest ways to enjoy the Candlelight Processional is by booking a dining package. These packages include a meal at a participating EPCOT restaurant and guaranteed seating for one of the three nightly shows.
Here’s what you get with a package:
Choice of breakfast, lunch, or dinner depending on the restaurant
Entrée and dessert (or buffet)
A non-alcoholic beverage (or alcoholic for guests 21+)
Reserved seating badge for the performance
Dining packages open for booking on October 14, and they go fast. If Candlelight is a must-do for your holiday trip, I recommend locking this in right away.
The Candlelight Processional at EPCOT features a captivating choir performance set against a backdrop of shimmering stars, creating a magical holiday atmosphere. Photo: Disney Parks
Note: It’s important to note that while you DO get guaranteed seats for the Candlelight Processional, you don’t necessarily have much control over WHERE those seats will be. And you WILL have to wait in line before the show. There’s just no getting around this; these shows are just too popular. There will usually be two lines: one for those with dining package “tickets” and those without. The Cast Members will allow those in the dining package line into the theatre first. Once all those package ticket holders have been let in, Cast Members will begin allowing guests in the “standby” line into the theater. If you’re in the “standby” line, there is no guarantee you will end up getting into the theater to get a seat.
Why You Should Go
The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is already a feast for the senses—seasonal bites, festive decorations, and holiday traditions from around the world. But the Candlelight Processional is its heart. Whether it’s your first time attending or a beloved family tradition, it’s a chance to slow down in the middle of the theme park whirlwind and just soak up the season.
And don’t forget: while you’re there, you’ll want to keep an eye out for this year’s Foodie Guide. It’s the perfect tool for mapping out all the holiday treats you’ll want to try in between shows.
The Bottom Line
If your holiday trip includes EPCOT, the Candlelight Processional should be on your must-do list. With a star-studded lineup of narrators, incredible music, and that unmistakable Disney magic, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season.

Start your engines—because Test Track is racing back into action with a brand-new look, feel, and vibe. Disney has announced that the reimagined Test Track reopens at EPCOT July 22, 2025!
If you’ve been missing the adrenaline rush of speeding through EPCOT in a sleek, custom-designed concept car, good news: the Imagineering team has been hard at work giving this fan-favorite attraction a futuristic makeover. And from what we’ve seen so far? It’s more than just a tune-up.
Concept Art: Disney Parks
What’s New on the Reimagined Test Track?
Test Track closed for this reimagining last year on June 17. Disney told us then that the attraction would be closed for at least a year. I’ll be honest, I really thought this project would take much longer for them to complete. I was really pleasantly surprised when Disney announced that Test Track would reopen on July 22.
Disney tells us that this update is all about marrying cutting-edge automotive technology with the storytelling magic Disney is known for. Here’s what’s on the dashboard:
An all-new musical score designed to match the ride’s new tone and pacing. Music lovers, you’ll definitely want to pay attention—Disney rarely misses when it comes to a soundtrack.
Immersive new scenes that put you directly in the driver’s seat of tomorrow’s tech. One standout? A scene that uses over 29,000 points of light to simulate what it’s like for a car to “see” the world using cameras and sensors. (If you’re into cool visuals, this one’s going to blow you away.)
A fresh storyline that focuses not only on innovation, but also on the heart of what driving is about: freedom, exploration, and shared moments with people you love.
A New Look, Same High-Speed Thrill
The layout and ride mechanics will feel familiar—you’ll still be designing your own vehicle, testing its capabilities, and yes, speeding around that outdoor loop at over 60 mph. But now, everything has a sleeker, more futuristic energy. The updated visuals and theming bring the experience closer to what you’d expect from the next generation of smart vehicles.
Concept Art: Disney Parks
Who Gets to Ride First?
As with most major attraction reopenings, Disney will be offering early previews for select groups. That includes:
Cast Members
Annual Passholders
Disney Vacation Club Members
Golden Oak residents
Club 33 Members
If you’re part of any of these groups, keep an eye on your email (and your My Disney Experience app) for details on preview dates and registration.
Need a Thrill Fix Before July 22?
Can’t wait to get your adrenaline pumping? You’re not out of luck. Walt Disney World is bursting with thrill rides that’ll hold you over until Test Track reopens. Try:
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – still one of my favorite coaster experiences on property
TRON Lightcycle / Run – sleek, fast, and visually stunning
Expedition Everest – a classic for a reason
Slinky Dog Dash – don’t underestimate this one—it’s joyful, zippy fun
And while you’re exploring, check out the “Cool Kid Summer” fun happening around the resort—Disney’s bringing even more playful, family-friendly magic to the parks this summer.
Image: Disney Parks
The Bottom Line
The new Test Track promises to be more than a re-theme—it’s a full sensory refresh that combines the ride we’ve loved for years with a new layer of storytelling and high-tech immersion. Whether you’re a car enthusiast, a thrill-seeker, or just someone who loves a fresh Disney experience, this is one update you won’t want to miss.
So mark your calendars for July 22, buckle up, and get ready to hit the road in a whole new way.

I just got back from the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival a few days ago (The Flower & Garden Festival runs through June 2, 2025, so there’s still time!). I can’t believe it, but it’s already time to start thinking about EPCOT’s famous FALL Festival, the International Food & Wine Festival. If you’re anything like me, you’re already dreaming of strolling through EPCOT with a festival passport in one hand and a decadent bite in the other. Well, Disney has officially dropped the first round of details for the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and it’s looking like another delicious adventure is just around the corner!
Let’s dig into everything we know so far—and why now is the right time to start planning your fall getaway!
Photo: Disney Parks
What Makes the Food & Wine Festival so Special?
The focus of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is of course, food and wine. EPCOT sets up “Global Marketplaces” all around World Showcase, World Discovery, World Nature and World Celebration, featuring unique food and beverage items from all over the world. If you’re familiar with EPCOT, you might know that there are already quite a few countries represented in World Showcase (11 countries actually), and you can already get food and beverages from all of those countries anytime you visit EPCOT. What makes the International Food & Wine Festival so important? Short answer? LOTS more countries are represented during Food & Wine.
Photo: Disney Parks
Every year, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival features diverse cuisines from all over. It truly is an embarrassment of riches. Even the pickiest eaters will find MULTIPLE things they want to try as they travel the World during this Festival. As we get closer to this year’s Festival, Disney will release a Disney Eats Foodie Guide that will list every single item on the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival menus. I’ll be sure to share that with you as soon as it becomes available!
Mark Your Calendars: 2025 Festival Dates
Get ready to snack and sip your way around the world from August 28 to November 22, 2025! This year’s festival marks the 29th annual celebration of global cuisine, and it’s shaping up to be another crowd-pleaser with nearly 3 full months of tasty experiences, live entertainment, and family fun.
Whether you’re planning a foodie friends’ trip or a magical fall vacation for the whole family, these dates give you plenty of time to work a visit into your schedule.
Emile’s Fromage Montage Is Back!
Cheese lovers, rejoice! 🧀 One of my favorite returning activities is Emile’s Fromage Montage, a cheesy scavenger hunt of sorts where you sample select cheese-focused dishes from different Global Marketplaces around the park.
This year’s sneak peek features:
Brazilian Cheese Bread (Pão de Queijo)
Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey (hello, Greece!)
Fall Fruit Cheesecake with Boursin® Fig & Balsamic, pomegranate, and candied pecans
Collect stamps in your festival passport as you go, and once you’ve completed your montage, head to the redemption spot for a complimentary dairy-themed treat. It’s creamy, dreamy fun for all ages!
Remy’s Hide & Squeak: A Festival Favorite for All Ages
Inspired by everyone’s favorite little chef, Remy’s Hide & Squeak is returning once again! This is a must-do for families (or for grown-ups like me who just love a good scavenger hunt).
Photo: Disney Parks
We do these little Scavenger Hunts at each EPCOT Festival (each Festival has it’s own themed version) and we love them. They’re a fun way to notice new details, and a great way to get the kids excited to go around the world–even when they might otherwise be getting hot or tired (or both!).
Here’s how it works:
Buy your Remy map and stickers (usually available near Festival merchandise stands)
Hunt for Remy and his ingredients around World Showcase
Complete your map and collect your prize!
It’s simple, charming, and adds a layer of interactive fun to your festival day.
Bonus Tip: these little Scavenger Hunts can be a good way to convince the non-foodies in your group to approve a second EPCOT day during your trip. You get to try more food and more beverages…they get to hunt for Remy and win a prize. It’s a win-win for everyone!
🎶 Eat to the Beat Concert Series
Bring on the live music! The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is returning to the America Gardens Theatre, featuring a mix of returning fan favorites and exciting new artists. The lineup hasn’t dropped yet, but Disney has hinted that we’ll see both classic hits and local talent lighting up the stage.
Photo: Disney Parks
Bonus Tip: Want guaranteed seating? Book a Dining Package at select EPCOT restaurants and enjoy a delicious meal followed by a reserved spot for one of the shows later that day. It’s a great way to relax, refuel, and rock out.
Dining Package Details
The Eat to the Beat Dining Package includes:
Breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a participating table-service restaurant
An entrée, appetizer, dessert (or buffet/specialty plates, depending on location)
A non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverage (21+)
Guaranteed concert seating in the second section of the America Gardens Theatre
Photo: Disney Parks
This is a popular option for festival goers who want to skip the concert lines and enjoy a full dining experience during their EPCOT day.
🌱 Living with the Land Festival Displays
This is a hidden gem that I always recommend: During the festival, Living with the Land gets a seasonal refresh with special Food & Wine displays that showcase ingredients used in the festival dishes, along with sustainability tips and innovative growing techniques.
Photo: Disney Parks
I love Living with the Land. It’s a lovely, longish boat ride, usually with a pretty short line to ride. I LOVE going through the greenhouse sections of the ride–they do change seasonally–and with things growing all the time, there’s always something new to see. It’s a great opportunity to get off your feet and out of the heat and humidity (or rain) and relax for a little bit. Plus you get to learn a few things along the way.
BonusTip: If Living with the Land is a ride you really enjoy, you might want to consider taking the Behind the Seeds tour. This is a one-hour walking tour of the fish farm and the 4 greenhouses that you see during the Living with the Land attraction. You get a lot of behind the scenes information about the work Disney’s agricultural team is doing. The tour costs $39-$45 per person plus tax. Advance reservations are HIGHLY recommended as this tour does frequently sell out.

Cool Kid Summer is headed to Walt Disney World from May 27 through September 1, 2025! Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a quick getaway, or just want to enjoy some amazing Florida Resident ticket deals (spoiler alert — they’re really good this year), there’s a lot to love about Disney’s summer plans.
If you’ve been dreaming of long summer days filled with Disney magic, get ready — Cool Kid Summer is headed to Walt Disney World from May 27 through September 1, 2025! Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a quick getaway, or just want to enjoy some amazing Florida Resident ticket deals (spoiler alert — they’re really good this year), there’s a lot to love about Disney’s summer plans.
Here’s what’s in store and how to make the most of it.
Photo: Disney Parks
🏖 Florida Resident Summer Magic Tickets Are Back!
Let’s start with the news Florida locals will be most excited about: The Summer Magic Ticket returns May 6 — and this year’s prices are a steal!
✨ 4-Day Ticket – $60 per day ($240 plus tax) ✨ 3-Day Ticket – $75 per day ($225 plus tax) ✨ 2-Day Ticket – $105 per day ($210 plus tax)
➡ Valid for visits May 18 – September 27, 2025 (with a park reservation).
Seriously, these prices are so good, they almost warrant a move to Florida! (Ok, we all know that’s my master plan anyways, but $60/day??? That’s less than HALF a standard one-day park ticket!!). As always, you’ll want to grab these early because some dates will book up fast, especially weekends and holidays.
🌸 EPCOT: GoofyCore & Summer Fun
Photo: Disney Parks
Starting May 27, CommuniCore Hall is transforming into a Goofy-themed dance and play zone. Expect DJ dance parties, silly games like Loopy Limbo, and lots of family fun.
I think this is an inspired choice by Disney: Goofy is always such a fun character to interact with, and he’s always so much fun to be silly and play with. I think the kids are going to really love this “dance and play zone”. I can’t wait to see all the hijinks!!
If you’re visiting EPCOT before May 27, note that CommuniCore Hall will temporarily close starting May 12 for the makeover — but CommuniCore Plaza and Mickey & Friends meet-and-greet will stay open.
🌼 Flower & Garden Festival tip: Check out Florida Fresh for some bonus Farmer’s Feast treats while you’re there!
Rafiki’s Planet Watch will host hands-on craft activities all about pollinators (perfect for your little nature lovers).
Plus, there’s a special, limited-time Wilderness Explorers badge up for grabs — and a new interactive sing-along show at Discovery Island at day’s end.
Pro tip: Keep an eye out for some of Animal Kingdom’s lesser-known animal residents like okapi and tigers during your badge quest!
🎬 Hollywood Studios: Dance Parties & All-New Shows
Photo: Disney Parks
Animation Courtyard will be buzzing with games, crafts, street performers, and surprise character moments.
Little ones can dance the day away with Mickey Mouse and Disney Junior pals at a DJ party.
🖤 Two new stage shows debut May 27: (I am so excited about BOTH of these, I can’t even tell you!)
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After (your favorite baddies get the spotlight)
The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure (a fresh, magical retelling with songs and special effects)
At Storybook Circus, Pluto will be hosting a Big Top Bash dance party, complete with jugglers and stilt walkers.
Photo: Disney Parks
Over in Tomorrowland, dance with Stitch at the Galactic Blast and enjoy a cool new craft inspired by the upcoming Pixar movie “Elio.”
Concept Art: Disney Parks
And later this summer, keep your eyes peeled for the debut of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away — a brand-new nighttime show featuring characters from Encanto, Frozen, Coco, and more.
💦 Bonus Perks for Resort Guests

They’re small enough to fit in your suitcase and make a perfect souvenir to keep your EPCOT memories blooming at home.
🦋 Bonus Disney Magic: Smellephants at Magic Kingdom!
If you can’t get enough scent-sational adventures, hop over to Magic Kingdom after your EPCOT visit!
Over at Storybook Circus, Scentsy is also the presenting sponsor of the adorable new Smellephants on Parade scavenger hunt, adding a whimsical, sniff-worthy twist to the classic Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction.
Smellephants on Parade. Photo: Disney Parks
Smellephants is all about SNACK scents–popcorn, churros, cotton candy…In total there will be eight “Smellephants” scattered around Storybook Circus. And I’m guessing there’s going to be a snack kiosk within shouting range of each of them!

First of all, can we take a moment to appreciate how cool it is that GEO-82 is located inside Spaceship Earth? The design of the lounge is inspired by the iconic architecture of the geosphere, blending EPCOT’s classic futuristic vibes with a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for an afternoon break or a relaxing end to your park day.
And speaking of endings — if you’re looking for a truly memorable night, GEO-82 will offer a Fireworks Viewing Experience as part of Disney’s Enchanting Extras Collection! More on that in just a bit…
Innovative Cocktails (and Mocktails!) to Savor
The GEO-82 beverage program is truly something special. Here are just a few highlights:
Photo: Disney Parks
Brown Butter Old Fashioned: Bourbon lovers, prepare yourselves — this twist on a classic features brown butter-infused bourbon and Mexican chocolate bitters. Rich, smooth, and decadent.
Clarified New York Sour: A visually stunning cocktail that’s equal parts beautiful and delicious, made with bourbon, sherry, and a red wine float.
Strawberry-Black Pepper Sour: A flavor explosion with strawberry, lemon, and a spicy black pepper twist.
Caramelized Leek Martini: I’m intrigued (and a little obsessed already) by this inventive mix of gin, vermouth, caramelized leek, and pickled onion.
Photo: Disney Parks
And for my fellow non-drinkers (or those looking for a refreshing break between sips), GEO-82 offers two gorgeous zero-proof cocktails:
Photo: Disney Parks
A Walk Through the Garden: Basil, fennel, lemon, and bright botanicals.
Manhattan in the Morning: Cold brew coffee meets maple, cherry, and walnut bitters.
Of course, you’ll also find an impressive selection of wines (including Champagne and Rosé) and a curated list of beers, including non-alcoholic IPA options!

Small Bites Worth the Hype
The GEO-82 culinary team clearly understood the assignment — the food menu reads like a dream for anyone who loves gourmet, global flavors:
Photo: Disney Parks
Jumbo Lump Crab Gâteau: Elevated with smoked cheddar, pickled mustard seed-lemon vinaigrette, and topped with Siberian Supreme Caviar.
Truffled Ahi Tuna: Featuring whisky barrel-aged soy-truffle ponzu, citrus, scallions, and black sesame.
Cannellini Hummus (Plant-Based!): Served with heirloom radish, pumpkin seed pistou, and crispy pappadam.
Funghi Flatbread: Roasted mushrooms, miso-mascarpone, mozzarella, fontina, pickled onions, and a drizzle of black garlic molasses.
Photo: Disney Parks
There’s also a Chef’s selection of artisanal cheeses and cured meats — perfect for nibbling while you sip!
Fireworks + Champagne = A Night to Remember
Now for one of the most exciting parts: The GEO-82 Fireworks Experience!
If you’re looking for a truly special way to end your EPCOT day, you can book this exclusive experience and enjoy:
Reserved seating with incredible views of Luminous: The Symphony of Us
A tasting tower filled with savory and sweet bites
Champagne poured tableside
Event-exclusive cocktails
This could be such a fun date night, anniversary celebration, or just a perfect self-care treat. We do not have any pricing for this experience yet, but I’m expecting this will be priced similar to the Seats & Sweets Dessert Parties at the Magic Kingdom [Currently, $119-$129 for Adults, $75 for Kids]. I’m basing this on the fact that Seats & Sweets includes reserves seating, beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and dessert stations.
The current description of this experience at GEO-82 Lounge currently sounds a little more “limited” and includes champagne–but it sounds like the treats will not necessarily be “all you care to enjoy” like they are at Seats & Sweets–so it will definitely be a different experience. I could justify a lower price or a higher price–especially once we get a look at the seating for this, and the actual view of the fireworks. And of course, get an idea of what exactly will be included in the “tower” of savory and sweet bites. I will say that Seats & Sweets is one of my favorite “extras” at the Magic Kingdom–I love being able to actually sit down to watch the fireworks, and the views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from Seats & Sweets are outstanding. If you’d like to read more about THAT experience, please click here.
I’m very excited to see inside the lounge and check out the fireworks viewing potential. As soon as Disney shares pricing for this experience, I will share it with you.
Souvenir Alert!
If you fall in love with the vibe at GEO-82 (and I think a lot of us will), you’ll even have the chance to purchase beautiful souvenir glasses inspired by the lounge itself. These collectible glasses will be available for guests with reservations, and you can mobile order them during your visit!
Photo: Disney Parks
I really like the look of these, especially if the GEO-82 logo is etched and not a sticker or layered on. We do not have prices on these yet, but I suspect there will be “limited-edition” specialty drink specials at outrageous prices that will include a souvenir glass with purchase. And of course, it sounds like Disney will also make the glasses available for purchase without a drink. I’m very curious to see what these prices will be.

Final Thoughts
I’m really looking forward to the opening of GEO-82 Lounge. I am a BIG fan of places to sit and relax in the middle of a busy theme park–especially if they are air conditioned or have fans for those crazy hot Disney days!
I love that EPCOT continues to evolve, offering new spaces that blend innovation, relaxation, and unforgettable flavors. Whether you’re popping in for a quick mid-day pick-me-up or ending your night with bubbles and fireworks, GEO-82 sounds like a must-visit for adults who love a little magic mixed with their martinis.
I am a little disappointed that Mom and I will not get to check it out when we are at EPCOT for the International Flower & Garden Festival next week. I was hoping GEO-82 Lounge MIGHT open in May…but the excuses for a quick mid-Summer trip are just adding up!
Don’t forget — reservations open May 6! Let me know if you plan to check it out — maybe I’ll see you there, sipping on a Brown Butter Old Fashioned! 😉

Big news for EPCOT fans! Disney just announced GEO-82, an all-new, adults-only lounge coming to EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth later this year. Yes, you read that right—this elegant new lounge will be inside EPCOT’s iconic geodesic sphere, offering modern cocktails, globally inspired small plates, and stunning views of World Celebration gardens and World Showcase Lagoon.
Let’s take a closer look at what makes GEO-82 a must-visit addition to Walt Disney World!
GEO-82: The Ultimate EPCOT Lounge Experience
GEO-82 will be reservation-only and exclusively for guests 21 and older. This sleek, stylish space will be the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring EPCOT. Imagine sipping on an innovative cocktail, sampling global flavors, and soaking in breathtaking park views—all from within one of Disney’s most famous icons.

A Lounge Inspired by Spaceship Earth
The design of this adults-only lounge, GEO-82, is a love letter to EPCOT’s legendary architecture. Inside, guests will be surrounded by futuristic geometric shapes, intricate patterns, and warm metallic tones—all echoing the look and feel of Spaceship Earth itself. Disney promises an elegant and intimate atmosphere, making this the ultimate hidden gem for adults visiting EPCOT.
Cocktails & Small Plates With a Global Twist
While Disney hasn’t released the full menu yet, they tell us that GEO-82 will feature globally inspired small plates and creative cocktails. Given EPCOT’s reputation for world-class dining, expectations are high—and I can’t wait to see what delicious drinks and bites make the final cut. (And if you can read the menu, thank the Phoenicians! 😉)

More Lounges Coming to Walt Disney World!
GEO-82 isn’t the only new lounge opening this year. Disney has also teased a Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired tavern coming to Magic Kingdom Park later in 2025. While GEO-82 will be an adults-only retreat, this upcoming pirate-themed spot promises fun beverages for the whole family—so keep an eye out for more details soon!
In addition, there’s a brand new DVC (Disney Vacation Club) Members Lounge opening at Magic Kingdom this week. McKim’s Mile House is located in Frontierland, and offers DVC members and their guests a quiet place to relax and recharge.

Adults-only Lounge Coming to EPCOT
Let’s talk about the somewhat controversial elephant in the room. I bet there are at least some of you that saw that the new lounge will be “adults-only” and were unhappy about that. After all, Disney is a family destination. I think many people would tell you that Disney is “for the kids”. And to a certain extent, yes, Disney’s primary target audience is children (and their parents and grandparents with the money to FUND their children’s Disney love). However, as a “Disney Adult”, I have to express firmly that Disney is NOT just for children. Disney has spent billions over the years to successfully appeal not just to children, but to teens, adults and seniors as well. There is entertainment, attractions and food and beverages that appeal to all ages–not just children.
A toast at dinner in France. Photo: Linda Harkness
EPCOT is more “grown-up” friendly than the other parks
The truth is, EPCOT is the one park that IS a little more adult friendly. The Food & Wine Festival is NOT targeting children, I promise you. EPCOT was the first Disney theme park to serve alcohol. In fact, EPCOT has long been criticized for not being focused enough on children. With only three “attractions” in World Showcase, many feel that EPCOT can be boring for young children. While this hasn’t been my family’s experience, I can certainly understand why some might feel that way. Regardless, children are currently welcomed everywhere in the theme parks at Walt Disney World.
I really like the idea of one place where adults can go to have some cocktails and maybe some snacks at Disney without children. Just for an hour or two. As much as I love Disney and get a genuine charge out of watching children all over the parks having fun–sometimes, it’s really nice just to sit and have a drink and relax–without children around. And of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World, I think it makes sense to put the first adults-only lounge at EPCOT.
My FAVORITE Alcoholic Beverage in ALL of WDW…The Grand Marnier Orange Slushy in France. Photo: Brooke Hudson
But it’s NEW!
I understand that this is a new thing, and that you might think, “everyone should get to enjoy it”. But I don’t really think that’s a big deal, personally. There is plenty of stuff all over Disney that everyone gets to enjoy. Will the kids really care that they’re not invited into this new lounge? No. The kids would be BORED in the new lounge. It won’t have fun, colorful things to climb on. It won’t be kid friendly, and it won’t be themed to entertaining children. They’d MUCH rather go to the Space 220 Lounge and watch astronauts walking in space than sit in a relatively quiet, elegant (and hopefully) classy lounge.
Space 220. (Photo Disney Parks)
Most likely the people that will be frustrated that GEO-82 is an adults-only lounge are the people traveling with their children that want to go to the lounge. Unfortunately, sometimes we don’t get everything we want. But those people can still visit the new lounge–as long as they have someone to watch their children while they do.
But what if Disney builds MORE Adults-only Lounges?
What if they do? Would that really be so terrible? I’ve definitely heard some parents voice concerns about people drinking too much around World Showcase, and not wanting to expose their children to drunk adults behaving badly. (I don’t want to be exposed to them either, so I’m with you on that). But would it be so bad if there were a few adults-only spots on property that separated the drinking adults from the families with young children? I’m not sure I see an issue, honestly. I mean, sure, I’d rather have some new attractions or shows. But I wouldn’t mind an adults-only lounge in each theme park if they were to happen.
When Can You Visit GEO-82?
Disney has yet to announce an official opening date or when reservations will become available, but stay tuned! I’ll share updates as soon as Disney releases more details.
What do you think about this elegant new EPCOT lounge? Are you excited to sip cocktails inside Spaceship Earth? Are you disappointed that the new lounge will be adults-only? Let me know in the comments!

It’s hard to believe, but 2024 is almost over and 2025 is on its way. One of the best things to look forward to in the new year is the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Festival time is always the BEST time to visit EPCOT, and the International Festival of the Arts is one of the best (and shortest!) festivals of the year.
The 2025 International Festival of the Arts will run from January 17 to February 24, 2025. EPCOT packs a lot of content in its annual International Festival of the Arts. Full of music, color, food and activity, the International Festival of the Arts is a feast for the senses.

Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Packages
The Disney on Broadway Concert Series will be a major highlight of the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Year after year, this series has proven very popular. One of the best ways to guarantee a seat at your preferred show for the Disney on Broadway Concert Series is a Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package. If you want to attend a Disney on Broadway Concert Series show, you need to wait in line, and there is no guarantee you will get a seat for the show. However, if you purchase a Dining Package, you ARE guaranteed a seat for the show.
Dining Packages and Prices
Choose a restaurant from a variety of participating EPCOT table service restaurants that offer Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Packages. Here’s what your meal will include:
At Spice Road Table: 2 small plates, a shared tagine, a shared dessert platter and a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older)
At Other Participating Restaurants: An entrée and dessert, or one full buffet (where applicable)—as well as a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older)
Plus, you’ll get one (1) guaranteed seat per person to one DISNEY ON BROADWAY concert on the same day.
Advance Dining Reservations are HIGHLY recommended!
The prices in the table below do NOT include tax or gratuity.
Didn’t make Advanced Dining Reservations and hoping to do a Same Day Dining Package for Disney on Broadway Concert Series? You may be able to purchase a same-day dining package, which allows you to:
Enjoy guaranteed seats to a DISNEY ON BROADWAY concert later that day.
To check availability for same-day dining packages, visit Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. Packages are subject to availability and may not be available on peak dates.
Of course, if you aren’t able to book a Dining package and if you aren’t able to get a seat for the show, all is not lost: you can still hear and see the show from the walkways throughout the American Adventure Pavilion. It’s not as comfortable as sitting, but when desperate times call for desperate measures, it is an option.
New Artful Experiences for 2025
30 Years of Disney on Broadway— Concept Art: Disney Parks
Once Upon a Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway
2025’s International Festival of the Arts will feature a new exhibit in EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall. 30 Years of Disney on Broadway will allow guests to experience the magic of Broadway in a walkthrough exhibit that celebrates three decades of Disney on Broadway. The exhibit will feature props and costumes from favorite Disney Broadway musicals. Also featured will be behind the scenes glimpses of how classic Disney animated films “The Lion King” and “Aladdin”.
Opening Bites Food Studio
Outside CommuniCore Hall at CommuniCore Plaza, the new menu will pay homage to foods and drinks on foods made famous on stage. Guests should keep their eyes open for the upcoming Festival of the Arts Foodie Guide to this and other Foodie Studios around EPCOT during the Festival.
New Artful Photo Ops
Throughout each International Festival of the Arts, guests can take advantage of Artful Photo Ops. These Artful Photo Ops allow guests to step onto the canvas and become “part” of the art. There are several returning favorites this year, including Luncheon of the Boating Party by Pierre-August Renoir, Washington Crossing the Delaware by Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze, and Edvard Munch’s The Scream. There is also a brand new Artful Photo Op inviting guests to voyage alongside our favorite seafarer featuring Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Moana.” Each location will have Disney PhotoPass Photographers available to capture your artistic moment.

2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts: Features to Enjoy
Scavenger Hunt: Figment’s Brush with the Masters
Each EPCOT Festival features a Scavenger Hunt. We’ve done several different version of these and really enjoy them. For the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, the Scavenger Hunt features Figment learning about art, and is a World Showcase focused Scavenger Hunt.
To participate in the Scavenger Hunt, you’ll purchase your map and stickers for $9.99 (plus tax) at one of three locations:
Creations Shop
World Traveler
Port of Entry
Once you have your map and stickers, you’ll explore World Showcase and search for Figment in each World Showcase pavilion. You’ll look for Figment hiding inside art inspired by famous works—a clue will be a Figment themed picture frame. When you find Figment, you’ll place the corresponding sticker on the pavilion on your map.
When you’ve located Figment at each Pavilion around World Showcase, and placed stickers on each Pavilion on your map, you’ll return to one of the three shops above to show your completed map and win a small prize (while supplies last).
The Scavenger Hunt is a fun way to find new details in places you’ve explored many times before. Some years, they’ve been really challenging, and some years, they’ve been fairly easy. Either way, we’ve always enjoyed doing an EPCOT Scavenger Hunt. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend one for a first time visitor, but for someone who has visited EPCOT many times, they’re a fun way to add a new dimension to your visit.
Paint by Numbers Mural
One really fun component of the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be the giant Paint by Numbers Mural. This mural is for YOU, the guest. It’s painted by guests, throughout the course of the Festival. To participate, you’ll pick up a brush, a paint color and a number at the Expression Section Booth. Then, you’ll go to the massive mural and paint a few squares that correspond with your color.

The Expression Section Booth is located on the walkway between the Imagination! Pavilion and World Showcase. The Booth is open every day between 11 am and 5 pm. Note: This experience is subject to change without notice, and is subject to change or cancellation due to weather.
Kids Chalk Art
Children are invited to express their creativity using chalk on the bridge to World Showcase Plaza. The kids create their masterpieces on the walkway, and everyone walking by gets to enjoy their artistry! This kid friendly activity is available every day between 11 am and 5 pm. This experience is subject to change without notice.

Animation Academy
I’m really looking forward to checking this one out, myself. Every day, throughout the Festival, you’ll have a chance to learn how to draw a Disney character from a Disney animator! The sessions are held twice a day, at 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm, in the American Gardens Theater in the American Adventure Pavilion. Sessions are subject to change without notice. Featured artists include:
Luke Consolo
Matthew Dewater
Justin Dring
Will Gay
Hannah Loflin
Alex Maher
Michael Montgomery

Artists and Art Displays
All around EPCOT, you’ll find art displays and artists, showcasing their work. At World Showcase Plaza, you’ll be able to watch artists create Disney characters in minutes (Thursdays through Sundays throughout the Festival). Also at World Showcase Plaza, you’ll be able to hear musical artists performing daily. Throughout World Showcase, you’ll find chalk drawings of your favorite Disney characters. On the bridge to World Showcase Plaza, you’ll see Chalk Artists at work and be able to see galleries of their creative designs.

2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts: Food Studios
As with most EPCOT Festivals, the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will feature food kiosks, called “Food Studios” for this Festival, featuring special food and beverages only available during the Festival. Some regular restaurants around the park will also feature some special “Festival” only menu items.
Artistic Food— Photo: Disney Parks
The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine
This year’s Festival will feature a fun game for the “foodies” among us. Your Festival Passport will feature seven tasty and vibrant specialty dishes for you to track down. Locate each of these items and track your progress by getting a stamp for your passport after you purchase the items.

Once you’ve enjoyed at least five of the seven dishes—and collected the corresponding stamps—you’ll bring your stamped Festival Passport to the Deco Delights Food Studio and receive a complimentary Artist Palette Cookie.
2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts: Festival Merchandise
We can always count on Disney to help us find ways to spend our money, can’t we? EPCOT Festival Merchandise is a TERRIFIC example of Disney marketers working their creative brains to the bone to give us new ways to spend our money. Every Festival means new, Festival specific merchandise. And for some of the longer Festivals, the merchandise may even change during the Festival! The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will definitely feature lots of special only-available-at-the-festival-merchandise. Disney has only released pictures of a few items so far, but I’m sure there will be lots more. We all know they won’t want to leave ANY money on the table if they possibly can come up with a way to get you to spend it!

The Final Brushstroke
The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will run from January 17 through February 24, 2025. It will be filled with colorful artwork, lively music, tasty and artistic food, fun activities for both adults and kids and will overall be a very special time to visit EPCOT. Are you planning to visit EPCOT for this year’s International Festival of the Arts?
I’m very excited that this year, the Princess Half Marathon Weekend is during the last weekend of the Festival, so I’ll be able to attend the Festival during Race Weekend this year. Last year, I just missed it—I arrived 2 days after the Festival ended. It worked out great last year, because my mom was with me and the Flower and Garden Festival started early and we were able to check that out right at the end of our trip.
EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival— Photo: Disney PhotoPass
This year, Mom and I are doing a separate trip for Flower and Garden (that Festival is the subject of our next blog!) As I’m sure you can tell, I’m a bit of a junkie for EPCOT Festivals. The Flower and Garden Festival is my favorite but I’m super excited to check out the International Festival of the Arts in a few weeks.
What about you? Do you have a favorite EPCOT Festival? Do you ever plan your trips to coincide with a particular Festival? Please comment below. I’d love to know how EPCOT Festivals impact your planning!

It’s time for another Festival update for EPCOT. The next big Festival at EPCOT will be the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. The 2024 International Festival of the Arts will begin January 12 and run until February 19. EPCOT’s shortest Festival of the year, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts packs a lot of punch in a short period of time!
Photo: Disney Parks
We’ve talked before about the amazing Festivals held throughout the year at EPCOT. At this point, there are only a few weeks out of the entire year where there ISN’T a Festival of some kind going on!! My personal favorite, the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival starts in early spring and now runs through mid-summer. Almost immediately after Flower & Garden, the International Food & Wine Festival begins and runs through November each year. The Food & Wine Festival is a VERY popular Festival (and rightly so!) and has been getting longer every year. Just a few days after the end of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays begins. The 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays ends on December 30, 2023.
What is the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts?
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts highlights the visual, culinary, and performing arts in the over-the-top way that we’ve all come to expect from Walt Disney World.
EPCOT becomes drenched in colors, and the honorary mascot of the Festival is always our imagination inspiration leader, Figment (one of my very favorite characters!).
Disney on Broadway Concert Series
One of the highlights every year of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is the annual Disney on Broadway Concert Series. This Concert Series features a bevy of stars from various Disney shows on Broadway.
Photo: Disney Parks
During the Festival, there will be three shows per day at the American Gardens Theater featuring your favorite hits from Disney’s many Broadway shows. Daily showtimes are: 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm and 8:00 pm.
This year, “for the first time in forever”, the Disney on Broadway Concert Series will feature two stars from a VERY popular ICY Disney Broadway show on stage together.

Disney on Broadway Dining Packages
If you plan to attend one of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series Shows, you will need to plan on lining up well before show time if you’d like a seat in the American Gardens Theater for the show. Many of the stars performing this year are VERY popular, and will likely draw larger than usual crowds–which will mean lining up earlier and standing in line longer.
One way to avoid the long lines for these shows is to purchase one of the Disney on Broadway Dining Packages. These packages go on sale December 19, 2023. This year, there are eight EPCOT restaurants participating in the Disney on Broadway Dining Packages.
With your Disney on Broadway Dining Package, you are guaranteed seating for the show in your package! Here’s what else is included:
For Spice Road Table: 2 small plates, a shared tagine, a shared dessert platter and a nonalcoholic beverage
For all other participating restaurants: An appetizer, entrée and dessert—or one full buffet/family-style meal (where applicable)—as well as a nonalcoholic beverage
Here are the participating restaurants, along with the pricing for their Disney on Broadway Dining Package. Note: Pricing does NOT include tax or gratuity.
Advance reservations are highly recommended for the Disney on Broadway Dining Packages–especially this year, with so many popular stars performing. Reservations can be made starting December 19, 2023.
Same Day Reservations
Planning a last minute visit for the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts? You MAY be able to score a same day Disney on Broadway Dining Package. Depending Ion availability, you can purchase a same day package:
Enjoy guaranteed seats to a DISNEY ON BROADWAY concert later that day
To check availability for same-day dining packages, visit Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue on the day you wish to attend a Disney on Broadway show. Packages are subject to availability and may not be available on peak dates.
Food Studios
A hallmark of almost every EPCOT Festival are the special “available-during-the-festival-only” food booths. These food booths (called “studios” for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts) are always themed for each Festival. There are more than 15 Food Studios for the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

The EPCOT chefs add an artistic twist to the offerings at the Food Studios at the International Festival of the Arts. There are tempting new dishes and drinks to savor this year.
Figment’s Inspiration Station Photo: Disney Parks
The Rainbow Cake with freeze-dried SKITTLES® bite-sized candies is always a sweet sensation at Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food and Little Sparks of Magic. And don’t miss the Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib with parsnip puree, broccolini, baby tomatoes and balsamic glaze at Pastoral Palate.
Pastoral Palate Photo: Disney Parks
Another culinary highlight of the Festival is the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine. This fun food stroll highlights yummy sweet and savory offerings in all the colors of the rainbow. You also have the option to complete A Journey to Savor. There are seven available options, but it only takes five out of seven treats to receive a extra special food item.
Photo: Disney Parks
The handy Festival Passport will show where to make picturesque purchases and receive stamps. Once guests have collected five stamps, bring the passport to Deco Delights Food Studio to receive a complimentary surprise.
The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine can be completed at your leisure – you can try a new treat every time you visit throughout the Festival.
Bring out Your Inner Artist
There are lots of opportunities for you to let your inner artist come out to play. Every day at the American Gardens Theater at 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm, you can attend the Animation Academy and learn how to draw a Disney character from some of the best animators available.
Photo: Disney Parks
Every day on the bridge to World Showcase Plaza from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, the youngest members of your travel group can create their very on chalk masterpieces at Kid’s Chalk Art.
Photo: Disney Parks
Have you ever wanted to paint a mural? You’ll get your chance at Expression Section: A Paint by Numbers Mural. You’ll join with other artists to leave a creative mark on a larger-than-life wall mural.

And what would a visit to the festival be without artful photo ops? From Botticelli to Renoir, there are life-size tableaus invite you to become part of the painting.

There are also limited edition special Magic Shots through PhotoPass, only available at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

Visual Galleries
